SHIPPING, DELIVERY & RETURNS

Shipping Policy

By placing an order for an alcoholic beverage through denouementwines.com, you formally represent that you are at least 21 years of age and that the intended recipient of the shipment is at least 21 years of age. Additionally, all shipments of alcoholic beverages within the United States require an adult signature at the time of delivery. No wines can be left on porches or doorsteps. Therefore, we recommend that a daytime/business address be provided for wine shipments.

Shipping

We are able to ship to most states in the United States via our relationship with VinoShipper.

Orders shipped via standard ground method should arrive in 7 to 15 days from the date of your order. Overnight orders can only be accepted in states that are serviced by FedEx and UPS. In such instances, orders requiring overnight shipment must be received by the winery by 9 AM Pacific time (Monday – Friday) to arrive the next business day. Overnight orders received on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday will be processed on the first business day after the order is received, for delivery the following business day.

We take great caution in shipping our wines, as they are sensitive to cold and hot weather. Because of this, shipment schedules may be altered, at the last minute, due to temperature changes across the US

States Authorized for Direct Shipment

Due to the fluctuating nature of alcohol shipping laws, we may be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly, to all states except Kentucky, Utah and Massachusetts.  Please note, when dealing through a third party, wine prices, discounts, and shipping costs may differ from those quoted by Denouement Wine Co.

Shipping Costs

UPS Ground is Denouement's preferred carrier. Ground shipping is provided by UPS Ground at current market rates. *Note – If the customer selects Next Day or 2 Day, the customer pays all shipping charges, regardless of their wine club membership or purchase amount.

Return & Exchange Policy

We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged or flawed. We ask the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle with original cork taped in bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to vintner@denouementwines.com to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.

If the originally shipped wine was damaged or flawed, weather related damage withstanding, you will receive a refund. Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling.

Club membership policy: All shipments will be sent via UPS ground unless specified otherwise. Shipments to Alaska & Hawaii must be sent via air. Shipping and taxes are not included in annual fee. First club order will be charged at the time of sign up and membership will renew automatically each year, charging the card on file in October. If you arrange to pick up your shipments in person, you must do so within 60 days of your card being charged or Denouement will ship your package to you at your expense. You will be notified about club price changes and shipment timing as they occur. Make sure to keep your contact information up to date so you receive these notifications. To update contact information or cancel your membership email vintner@denouementwines.com.  If new members choose to cancel before receiving their first shipment, all membership discounts received so far will be added up and charged to the card on file. There are no wine substitutions allowed for automatic wine shipment selections.
