The Vineyards
Highlighting Terrior
Yamhill Carlton AVA
Beacon Hill was identified early as an optimal vineyard site with the first plantings dating back to 1988. It sits on the toe of a hill with elevations ranging from 250'-375'. The site has and ideal southeast aspect. The soil is Melbourne, one of the marine sedimentary soil the Yamhill Carlton AVA has become famous for. The 2021 Denouement Chardonnay (clone 95) was sourced for block 9 at Beacon Hill. Check out their unique cabin in the vineyard on AirBNB.
Dundee Hills AVA
La Colina was planted in 1999 exclusively to Pinot Noir. The site ranges from 460'-625' elevation with volcanic Jory soil. The vineyard is known for producing elegant wines with intense depth, showing pure red fruit notes and bright acidity. The Dundee Hills are the birthplace of the Oregon wine community and it still holds its place as the most sought out growing region in the state. The 2021 and 2022 Denouement Pinot Noirs are both vineyard designates from La Colina, made from Pommard and Wadenswil clones sourced from blocks 12 and 15.

McMinnville AVA
Celestial Hill is an exceptional vineyard site with unique terrior. The vineyard is cooler than most with a strong marine influence due to its proximity to the coastal range. This marine influence ensures cool summer nights, helping the grapes maintain high acidity. The vineyard has a wide range of soils both sedimentary and volcanic with elevations ranging from 450'-625'. It is organically farmed and produces low yielding, balanced fruit. The 2022 Denouement Chardonnay and 2021 and 2022 Rosés of Pinot Noir were made with fruit from Celestial Hill.
Columbia River Gorge AVA
Windhorse is a stunningly beautiful site located in the steep canyon lands of the Columbia River Gorge AVA between the Dalles and Mosier, OR. Rhone and Bourdeux varietals thrive here along with some rare and exciting Italian clones. Climate wise, Windhorse is the most extreme site within our program offering abundant sunshine / the most growing degree days along with the coldest lows. The soils are volcanic Alifsols from the Cherryhill series. The site sits high above the Columbia River at 1,000-1,300' elevation. The first crop of Cabernet Franc was processed by Denouement for the 2023 vintage. We're excited to let these young vines sing.
South Hill (Kramer) Vineyard
Columbia River Gorge AVA
South Hill sprawls along the south face of Underwood Mountain offering epic views of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River gorge. Sitting at '1,200'-1,920 we have found the South Hill vineyards (and pretty much all of Underwood Mtn.) produce beautiful white wines. The 2023 Riesling was sourced from South Hill's Kramer vineyard, located several miles east of the estate winery site. With incredibly deep volcanic soils, cool weather and plenty of rain the area thrives in flavor development while maintaining acid.
Willamette Valley AVA
One Love Vineyard is in a unique set of hills south of Salem near Willamette Valley Vineyards and St. Innocent. The vineyard produces luscious Pinot Noir grapes along with Albarino. The site ranges from 625'-725' elevation with volcanic Nekia soil. In 2021 we produced our first commercially licensed Pinot Noir from this site so it will always hold a special place in our hearts. And don't sleep on the South Salem Hills, the area deserves to be it's own AVA.
